Station 36 participated in a multi company training in Freeport Boro at the high Rise. 36 Crews used both ladder trucks and simulated ventilation on the roof top. Station 36 and Freeport Fire Dept. hopes to do multiple trainings together along with other surrounding fire companies.

Many stations from around the AK Valley were asked to participate in a large scale high rise training incident. 36 House was also asked to participate in this drill approximately 10 firefighters from 36 attended.
Sarver VFC recently purchased a 1989 E-One 135' foot ladder truck from Hightstown Fire Company in NJ. The truck was purchased for the many houses and businesses in the township that are just far enough off the hard roadways or steep and tight driveways to get other aerial apparatus in to.
It is never easy saying goodbye to a fellow firefighter and it's even harder saying goodbye to one of your own. It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the loss of Justin Stawinski, who was our Captain, a great paramedic, and one of our most active members of the company.

Members from station 36 once again attended the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg Md for the PA Weekend. This is the academy that many public servants from all across the country attend including FEMA workers, police officers, and Professional Firefighters.
During the weekly company 36 training crews went to Roenigk's pond on Ekastown Rd near the W. L. Roenigk bus garage. We completed operators drivers training, and pump training. We used a new piece of equipment that we purchased with a grant a few months ago.
