At approximately 20:23 stations 27, 36, and 15 were alerted for a automatic fire alarm at the old "Big Louie's Restaurant" at 110 South Pike Rd. Brush 36 was enroute to a Medical with a full crew when dispatched and diverted to the AFA. Within 30 seconds of dispatch it was upgraded to a working fire in the kitchen. T36-2 went enroute immediately after dispatch also with full crew. B-36 and E-27 arrived on scene simultaneously with C-27 having command. Once on scene the the crews were advised to go in and assess the scene. A sprinkler was found to be activated in the cooking area. Utilities and water to the sprinkler was shut off and the cause of the fire was believed to be from a smoker that was in the kitchen. Ventilation was preformed and 36 units were released within the hour. No other incident was reported. Units on scene included B-36, T36-2, E-27, T-27, E-15, M-45-2.
