At 19:47 stations 27,36,15, & 46 were alerted for a structure fire at 104 N Pike Rd in buffalo township. On the way to the station C36-2 gave an update to Butler Control confirming it was a working structure fire and the fire was through the roof. Within a couple minutes of dispatch Truck 36-2 went en-route with a full crew. E-27 was first on scene along with 36-2 arriving moments later. T36-2 laid approximately 300 Ft of LDH from route 356. The crew from 36 went to work very quickly and had a very large knock down on the fire. Command ended up pulling the crew due to high levels of heat and limited water supply. After backing out crews began an exterior attack to salvage all possible. R-36 arrived with a full crew. After a secure water supply was established from T27, crews continued an interior attack. The fire ignition point was undetermined but was ruled unsuspicious. Command had a total of 2 alarms due to the very cold weather and snow. On scene units included E27, Tanker 27, T36-2, R-36, 15, 46, 45, 10, Harrison Hills, South Buffalo, Kittaning 6.
